Julie has travelled and worked as a chef in Ontario & Quebec.  She met her husband, Richard while both were top chefs at The Royal York Hotel.  Her passion and diligence to hard work allowed her to move up the ranks in an industry where male chefs tend to rule. She is skilled in the kitchen and thrives in making the eating experience a delight.

Several years ago, Julie & Richard bought Crossroads Restaurant, an upscale yet casual restaurant that overlooks beautiful Lake Rosseau. Her fine skills are evident in the food served at their restaurant, which also includes baking breads and desserts that melt in your mouth.  Many weekends find her busy with the catering side of Crossroads.

She enjoys motherhood and has three children, Emma, Gabby and Tristan
